Vivien Ruxton

      Vivien Ruxton is a relentless art practitioner who has been participating in several prestigious art exhibitions on a regular basis not only in Germany but to other European countries and in the continent of Asia as well. The artist is the recipient of Takifuji Art Award by JPTCA Tokyo in its 40th international edition held in 2019. She started drawing a painting at a very early age when she was still a school student. She had a great passion for art and painting since her childhood.

 

        Despite of being highly naturally gifted artist, Vivien is a very hard-working artist. She is now a successful professional painter and works as a freelance illustrator also. Her prominent participation as an artist in the exhibitions titled 'Corals', Wunder Kammer Naturalia /Artificialia, held in Stuttgart, Germany in 2024. 'Let's be Sweethearts again' and 'Gopea' organized by 'Galerie Strzelski' and 'Villa de Bank' held in Stuttgart (Germany) and Enschede (Netherlands) respectively in 2020. Vivien completed her studies in artistic teaching under the guidance of Professors Andreas Opiolka and Holger Bunk at the 'State Academy of Fine Arts' in Stuttgart.

 

       Vivien Ruxton is currently employed as a lecturer at the ABK-Stuttgart since 2012. She has considerable skills as a graphic artist too. Although she is, primarily a painter and works considerable skills as a graphic artist too. Although she is, primarily a painter and works with large-format paintings that focuses on the themes of symbiosis and coexistence. She paints predominantly in in figurative approach and then used to combine elements such as flora and fauna, birds, crocodiles, etc juxtaposed with the main subject of her work.

 

        The artist lives and works in Stuttgart.
