
EIżbieta Gibulska, was born in 1991 in 'Białystok' the largest city in North Eastern Poland close to Belarusian border, Elżbieta earned her Master’s degree in ‘architecture and print making’ from the Faculty of Graphics at the ‘Academy of Fine Arts’ in Warsaw. Gibulska is a prominent face in the field of visual art in Poland today.
The artist is gifted with an intense emotional sense about the idea of volume, space, textures, tones & colours that she masters with exquisite delicacy. She has been bestowed with a multitude of esteemed awards and accolades, not solely in Poland but has also garnered global recognition within the art community for her remarkable artistic journey thus far.
Gibulska is the recipient Bangiya Kala Utkarsha Award, New Delhi, Art for Kimatu competition held in Danfoss, at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Poland, KISSPRINT 2022 DISTINCTION', reviewed for the best graphics of the 'Academy of Fine Arts' in Warsaw. She was awarded the 3rd prize winner at the esteemed international poster exhibition as part of the '27th International Poster Biennale in Warsaw' June 2021. She has taken part in more than 50 multi artists exhibitions. Her artworks are housed in private collections both in Poland and internationally. During the academic year 2022-23, she got the opportunity to pursue an 'Artistic Research Program' at Harvard University. The artist has recently revealed her works at 'International Print making Biennale' Čačak, Serbia & 'Osten Biennale' Skopije Macedonia, both the exhibitions were held in 2024. And in 'The International Triennial of Graphic Arts Sofia' Bulgaria in 2023.
EIżbieta Gibulska,'s works were showcased at both the ‘First’ & ‘Second’ phase of ‘Third Kolkata International Art Exhibition 2025’ or ‘3rd KIAE 2025’ for short, curated by artist ‘Kaushik Gupta’ and were held at ‘Birla Academy of Art & Culture’ and ‘Academy of Fine Arts’ Kolkata, in the months of February and March respectively.
The artist lives and works in Warsaw.
