Promit Dey is extraordinarily gifted and emerging printmaker, fervently dedicated to the intricate and subtle art of crafting unique, textured masterpieces that relay an engaging narrative to those who engage with them. The artist exhibits exceptional mastery of a captivating array of printmaking techniques, deftly merging the bold and expressive strokes of relief printing with the intricate and nuanced depths of intaglio, thereby demonstrating an impressive versatility and creativity. Each print he painstakingly crafts transcends mere imagery; it narrates a captivating saga filled with adventure and significance, as the artist boldly immerses himself in a realm rich with textures, layers, and vivid hues.      Born in 2002, this young fresh talent is currently undergoing his Bachelors Degree in 'Graphics' under ‘Sister Nivedita University’. His works were showcased at the 'Students Annual Exhibition of 'SNU' in 2024 held in 'Academy of Fine Arts', Kolkata. His works were also exhibited at '89th All India Art Exhibition' in 2024.​

        Furthermore, his works intricately interlace the complexities of daily existence with the refined elegance of architectural elements, skilfully conveyed through the evocative and potent medium of printmaking. In doing so, Promit Dey encourages the audience to delve into and recognize the beauty inherent in everyday moments and structures, thereby elevating them to a level of artistic significance.

       The artist was afforded the opportunity to reveal his works at both phases of '3rd KIAE 2025' or ‘Third Kolkata International Art Exhibition 2025' curated by artist 'Kaushik Gupta' and was held in month of February & March at 'Birla Academy of Art & Culture' and 'Academy of Fine Arts' respectively.
