Celebrated artist 'Sanya Arif' from Pakistan obtained her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, from 'Visual Study Department' with specialization in 'Miniature Painting' from 'University of Karachi' in 2006. In her artistic journey to date, Sanya received numerous esteemed awards from Pakistan and abroad. Her work evokes the relation and feelings with one another, and more precisely with the near and dear ones. In her work she tries to convey the message about the idea of marriage which has a tremendous impact on anyone's life, from foundation as well as in their future, where the two souls used to share their future path with one another, and eventually walks in a common path.

     The acclaimed artist's works were showcased widely in Pakistan. She has exhibited four times in the prestigious 'Beijing International Art Biennale' China, in the 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th editions held in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 respectively. She made her presence alomost everytime in 'Art Revolution Taipei' 2022, 2021, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 & 2014. She had particpted in the 1st & 2nd editions of 'Dafen International Oil Painting Biennale' held in 2018 & 2020 in Shenzhen, China. Her works were also exhibited in California, London, Moscow, Kyoto and even in Argentina.

       Sanya's works were showcased at both the ‘First’ & ‘Second’ phase of ‘Third Kolkata International Art Exhibition 2025’ or ‘3rd KIAE 2025’ for short, curated by artist ‘Kaushik Gupta’ and were held at ‘Birla Academy of Art & Culture’ and ‘Academy of Fine Arts’ Kolkata, in the months of February and March respectively. The artist also had made her presence felt in the 'Second Kolkata International Art Exhibition 2024' or '2nd KIAE 2024' that took place at 'Academy of Fine Arts', Kolkata in March 2024.

 

        The artist lives and works in Karachi.
