Artist ‘Prof. MMag.'Elmar Peintner’ is today is one of the most influential & internationally renowned contemporary artists in Austria and entire Europe. He is a relentless art practitioner right from his childhood till date. His works are extensively exhibited on a regular basis in almost all corners of the globe, in various renowned art galleries, museums, international art biennales etc. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and accolades over the years. His has showcased his works in Austria, in almost all countries in Europe, Asia, USA and further afield as well as awards won at international graphic art biennials in Belgium, Poland, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, the USA, Bulgaria, Kroatia, Ukraine, Sweden, Brazil and China confirm the continually growing reputation of this artist.

       Artist ‘Prof. MMag. Elmar Peintner tries to capture and demonstrates in all of his works that he is a thoughtful observer of both nature and humans, but also being an artist who always pushes the boundaries and looks beyond the obvious manifestations of nature and humans in his drawings and paintings. His "microcosmic examinations of shapes and forms" (Magdalena Hörmann) are always a part of something larger, speaking of numerous universal scenarios from life and first hand experience; however, his astute observation and accurate replication of human behaviour can also be interpreted as a metaphor for nature's perpetual change. The focus of his art is not so much on naturalistic portrayals of the natural world as it is on exploring the psychological and physiological aspects of the human condition.

      Elmar Peintner's works were showcased at both the ‘First’ & ‘Second’ phase of ‘Third Kolkata International Art Exhibition 2025’ or ‘3rd KIAE 2025’ for short, curated by artist ‘Kaushik Gupta’ and were held at ‘Birla Academy of Art & Culture’ and ‘Academy of Fine Arts’ Kolkata, in the months of February and March respectively. Lorenz's works were part of the '2nd Kolkata International Art Exhibition 2024' or ‘2nd KIAE 2024’ held at ‘Academy of Fine Arts’ Kolkata, India in March 2024 as well.
