
The young talented artist ‘Hanna Rozpara’ has studied at the ‘Academy of Fine Arts’ from 2009 – 2014 in Katowice, Poland. For the period from 2011 to 2012 she got the opportunity to study in the ‘Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen’ at ERASMUS exchange. She made her master thesis at in plano-graphic printing studio at ‘Academy of Fine Arts’ in Katowice in 2014. Later, she persuaded her Doctoral studies at ‘Academy of Fine Arts’ in Katowice at relief printing atelier, and eventually she was awarded her coveted PhD degree in 2021.
Rozpara used to experiment by creating her artworks in various printmaking techniques. She likes to explore with inter media art and site specific painting, drawing, graphic design and photography. Hanna devotes her valuable time in composing music too. She had showcased her talent in twenty-seven ‘Solo Exhibitions’ and over ‘Two Hundred’ group exhibitions in Poland and abroad to date. Rozpara’s works were shown couple of times at the prestigious ‘International Biennial Print Exhibit’, Taiwan in 2018 & 2020. She was invited quite a few times to participate in the event ‘International Print Biennial Varna’ held in Varna, Bulgaria in the years 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023. Hanna has also made her appearance twice at SPLITGRAPHIC International Graphic Art Biennial, Split 2013 and 2017. Her works were also exhibited at the 42nd Biennale Malarstwa ‘Bielska Jesień 2015’ at Bielsko-Biała, in Poland. The artist already bagged numerous prestigious awards and accolades for her creations. The Biennial Award - Utazu Art Award Biennale U-Plaza, Utazu, in Japan 2022, ‘Show Off Krakow Photomonth’ in 2022, ‘Prize of Prof. Halina Chrostowska’ funded by ‘Academy of Fin Arts in Warsaw’ and ‘11th Triennial of Polish Printmaking’ 2021, Katowice to name a few.
Rozpara's works were unveiled at both the ‘First’ & ‘Second’ phase of ‘Third Kolkata International Art Exhibition 2025’ or ‘3rd KIAE 2025’ for short, curated by artist ‘Kaushik Gupta’ and were held at ‘Birla Academy of Art & Culture’ and ‘Academy of Fine Arts’ Kolkata, in the months of February and March respectively.
The artist lives and works in Sosnowiec, Poland.
